Once the link approved means you can get mail from Wikipedia.

and how long does it take?
i can see my link is live but i cant understand if its approved or not

Wait up to 10 to 15 days.
You have to check with any other browser and once the link is approved means sure you can get approval mail from Wikipedia.

You will get a mail from Wikipedia after 10-15 days if your link is confirmed or not

If they don´t accept the link than you´ll receive a mail too, be patience

Just check with chrome incognito or something, then see if its live or not. And also, schedule the same check for 30 days time to see if its stuck. Thats what I do.

so that means sometimes they wont send you any mail? btw its a bio page

OK maybe its different from bio pages. And maybe I am not the best person to answer here because I have not worked with those page types before. From the sounds of the other replies it seems like you should definitely get an email confirming either way.
