Hi

I am not very familiar with wikis. If I post a bunch of spun articles to wikis, and link directly to my site, will I get penalized? Will the penalty be similar to the penalty you get from an xrumer profile blast?
are good wikis moderated? like if you post something, will the admins delete it? is there any steps I can take to avoid being detected/deleted by the admins?

Don't blast any backlinks to your main site. Wikis are for tier 2, as are social bookmarks, you'd then blast and index the tier 3 backlinks so the tier 2 wil pass more juice before they get removed.

Get the High PR Wiki's, use moderately spun content (readable but unique), post it on them. The key is to only post on PR 1+ wikis and using readable content.

I would agree, create a tier 1 buffer site. Maybe create an article on goarticles and blast that with your wiki links. The idea is to funnel any and all link juice to the tier 1 site. Creating a tier 1 by blasting to your money site will cause a head ache because you'll have to individually blast those tier 1's with tier 2's. Just create authority tier 1's by hand and blast them.

A few good articles if you post on PR3+ wiki sites for eg then it is not going to make any issue i think and there are not 100000 of such PR3+ wiki sites for eg... Any forum profile links i will recommend stay away from them if you are thinking to rank your main website and building backlinks for your website.
