about a year and a half ago i managed to get a link from one of my sites on wikipedia. but then a month later some ass clown with an inferiority complex took it down....

even with the no follow, i got a lot of traffic from that one link and lots of adsense revenue.

Keep in mind that the link wasn't spammy and was very relevant to the article.

Since then i haven't really bothered with wiki cuz i thought the effort wasn't worth the snotty attitude of the mods.

but, has anybody successfully gotten links to their site from wiki? is it even worth the effort.

no actually I tried to get a link to my blog but it was not successful. I though of trying again and again but the link is not lasting for more than 2 days. I need to work on that still.

    you know, it's not fair....
i understand them not accepting links to spam blogs, but for stuff that is relevant to the wiki topics.....there should be more than one person calling the shots and deciding which link gets to stay and which gets to go.
