I am an e-book writer. I do Facebook google ads but it is very expensive. Average around $1. Where would you recommend me for cheap traffic?

I think that depends on your objective, if you need quality traffic then go with Google ads or Facebook.

Why don't you make it cheap by optimizing your Google & Facebook campaigns, so the intent traffic will not get hampered. Just keep the targeting perfect.
 
You can try website popAds and banner, Hardlinks maybe useful this method.
 

Taboola : Taboola is becoming popular day by day. It also has only one ad format, and that is native. It has popular and big publishers like Business Insider, USA Today, etc. Taboola gets over 1 billion unique visitors per month.​

Advantages:​

  • Has big publishers like Business Insider
  • Large coverage reach
  • No minimum deposit
  • Many setting to define target audience
Disadvantages:
  • Not too good customer support
  • A bit costly when it comes to native advertising
 
Taboola has a lot of click fraud though. I tried it before. I'm still trying to find an ad network which isn't shit
 
Requesting "cheap traffic" is always going to end up with low quality traffic with bad bounce rates or low conversions.
 
I have a question. I'm planning on getting into the paid advertisements. Will tools like Valuum or clickcease help solve the fraudulent clicks issue or you still pay the same but users just don't land on your page?

Ive heard nothing good about clickcease. Maybe try Polygraph or one of the cybersecurity companies who deal with this stuff.

I understand. but is there actually any benefit from filtering that traffic besides correct "pixel teaching" for retargeting?
 
Clickaine for example is a good source for push ads if you are interested in such. Of course quality is lower than with FB/Google ads but it is very cheap and easy to test.

you can block the fake clicks from scam websites which will save your ad budget, and I guess it's good to know how many fake clicks you're getting
 
I would recommend targeting different interests or keywords. Also change your ad copies to new headlines/images/videos. Targeting different countries can also impact your cost per click as well. Most people use Facebook and Google ads so it's not the platform.

You can try email marketing. Start cold emailing to many people and promote your ebooks

Push and Pop traffic also very cheap. Propeller ads is a good traffic source for pop.
