I saw some tool somewhere on this forum where you can crack wifi login passwords.
ANyone know where it is or some other tool I can crack wifi passwords with so I can get on net???

aircrack-ng is the tool to you are looking for to crack WEP and WPA key : hxxp://www.aircrack-ng.org/doku.php
Linux is the best platform to run it, you can use it with windows but you'll have to develop your own dll to link it to your wireless card.
IMPORTANT Information Regarding Windows Version IMPORTANT
The windows version requires you to develop your own DLLs to link aircrack-ng to your wireless card. The required DLLs are not provided in the download nor available anywhere on the Internet. Without these DLLs, the windows version will not function. Do NOT post questions or problems to the forum regarding the windows version. At present, there is no support provided.
Well I guess installing linux or using a cd distribution like WHAX would be less of pain in the ass.
You also need a wireless card that supports passive mode.
(My last gen MacBook airport card doesn't support passive mode anymore, I had to buy an usb wifi card to use aircrack-ng)

Unfortunatly it takes some time and effort to use it properly, you'll have to learn and try for some time before you can crack WEP keys. There is no complete step by step tutorial as the use depends of your own card and config and there are no other "push button" software to crack them.

Good luck ;)

if you use aireplay in the aircrack suite it will drastically reduce the time it takes to crack it, so be sure to do that ;)

What software is used to sniff the actually traffic and get the username and password people submit to the websites they are visiting via the wireless?

I thought this was a blackhat SEO forum, not a blackhat hacking site?

They're called packetsniffers. One of the best ones is Ethereal, but I think they renamed it and created new ones or something... not to sure, but just google ethereal. btw, you have to actually be connected to the WIFI network to use these, you can just turn it on and drive around for hours hoping to pick up logins.
