Looks like a classic gypsy con. I used to deal with them years ago and they have just about every scam you can imagine in their bag of tricks. Of course they've been doing it for centuries.

You can sell some rocks that you pick from streets and claim it to have some sort of magical spell and you will sell it for $100 +

when Harry Potter first came out, I found an old PLR "spell book" I converted it to latin put some celtic graphics around the edges and sold it with a beginner's latin course. We all know that if a spell is going to work, you have to invoke it in Latin; right?

Sold quite a few of them on ebay. Maybe when harry potter 7 comes out, I will dust this one off. :D
