widespread htaccess hack of wordpress blogs happening

A few of my wordpress blogs have been hit (today and yesterday) by an htaccess hack .. i assume it's an exploit of some sort, because that's the only file that's being changed .. the htaccess is modified so that traffic to the blog from search engines is auto-redirected to programmengineering.ru

Anybody else seeing this?
Any known permanent fixes ... already did password changes and replacing the htaccess

You can change your passwords like you did and make them very restricted. I have gone as far as making it so I have to make it writable again before making changes.
