So I thought of a pretty sweet idea to make a targeted trackback spammer but I don?t have the bandwidth right now to sit and write the CURL to get it working well.

So here?s the idea. As far as I know there are no trackback spammers out there this targeted but please correct me if I?m wrong.

    1. You hit rpc.weblogs.com/changes.xml and pull down the list of every blog post that has just been published. You could collect this several times a day as we are talking hundreds of thousands of blog posts in this feed and it?s constantly updated.

    2. Store this data in a DB and query it against your list of keywords. You are looking for URLs/Post titles containing your keyphrases

    3. You generate a blog post around that keyword. Hell you could republish one of the ones from the above feed and run it through some kind of markov synonimizer if you wanted.

    4. In each blog post you add a set of ?related links? at the end to those blog posts that include your keywords and let WP process the trackbacks.

Equals targeted trackback spam. The other option with this feed is to just republish the content and do a pregreplace on certian words and stuff your links in and republish back to all the ping services out there and let all the syndicated spam sites republish the junk feeds with links back to you. This is basically what Technobound?s RSS Xploiter does.

Alternatively you could also use the same service as a kickass comment spammer. Here?s how:

    1. You hit the above feed and pull down all those blog posts everyday and store it in a DB for a few days

    2. Build a bot which hits all the posts that target your keyword a few days after the post has been published and pull out all of the comments,

    3. You query Google for the blog posts you just scraped the comments from and collect the URLs of all the sites where the post has been syndicated.

    4. You take the comments you collected from the source post and then run a bot which re-posts those comments on each of the ppls blogs who syndicated the post. One comment per syndicator.

BAM! You end up with highly relevant comments which you know are likely to be approved because they are about exactly the same thread and you can stuff your links in each comment.

Targeted, scaleable comment and trackback spamming plus syndicator exploitation as a bonus :)

Now - I?m gonna open this up to the clever ones amoung you who could build this and trust you wont just steal my idea! I?m happy to share any hardware costs and help with coding/best approach where possible but I just don?t have any free time right now as the day job has me slammed!

    Any takers?

Do you know what? WHAT'S THE FUCKING POINT!

I spend time coming up with a kickass idea which no matter what ppl may think about the potential narrowness of some of the links you can build is still a kickass idea which has tonnes of implementation options and just because I've only made a handful of posts I get no response.

I share that fucking idea with the Blackhat community cos I have ideas coming out of my ears so don't really give fuck and get nothing, nada, nilch back. Whilst I'm sure someone is building it as I write this.

What a joke! How can you run a forum which isn't supporting "n00bs"? Jesus I've been doing SEO for 6 years and I'm Head of SEO at of the top ten sites on the net during the day.

This site used to be great when I had my old online persona but now it's full of fronters. I saw a post the other day from a "Junior VIP" who asked how to learn PHP and MYSQL!? Junior VP and you don't know any programming languages? WTF!?

What's the point of vetting users with "Donations" and then letting them run wild on a blackhatforum spouting crap when they don't know a friggin language!

It's like picking peanuts from shit on here these days. There was a thread on here to MAKE IT FULL PAY MEMBERSHIP. DO IT. REIGNITE IT!

I guess I'll just leach thru proxies and VPN on here after I've been banned... If you can't beat them join em.

Kooshy, sorry that there are no takers. I am a n00b here, so I don't know what to say.

I actually am taking up on your idea, and doing my WH real comments with it (not black hat, although your BH idea should work-- the commenting on scraper sites). I had forgotten about rpc.weblogs.com/changes.xml. I can take that and find out all the new posts related to my sites by keyword, and then see if those sites are do follow (maybe using RSS to find other posts and if they have comments), can even check PR, and then post there. Admittedly WH, but then I am mostly WH in a BH forum.

Hmm, we are IMer's not programmers for the most part

There are a few comment spammers being sold, so if we want one we'll buy one

Your ideas are appreciated, we just aren't coders :)

Create a tool to do this first and then share. Would be cool then, just another idea to go into the cupboard for me though :)

You can code it but just don't have the time? What makes you think the rest of us have time to code your idea for you?

Thanks for the feedback guys. Appreciate it. I'm full of ideas hence putting the cart before the horse on this one. If I build it, I'll share it and probably charge for it.
