Wich hosting do you use?

Perfect I see. Wow I just checked and its practically the same price just to addon with GigaPros! Wow that kind of sucks.. Well I guess you cant have it all with a great host. Thank you very much for the tip with name.com I appreciate it! I will look into hostgator now that I know I wont get charged for addon domains that I register with name.com

I use Hostgator hosting service and so far i think it is the best hosting i have found yet.:)

Hey guys-
A little help please...

I was planning to sign up for the baby plan with Hostgator.

Does "unlimited domains," actually mean one 'primary domain,' with unlimited sub or addon domains?

Hosgator suggests that this is not important, as each domain will be seen by the web as a totally independent website.

But are these actually Subdomains I'll be adding in Cpanel with some kind of Masked re-direction?

In other words: It's NOT it's own Domain, but just configured to look like it is?

Any help is appreciated...

I've used about 20 hosts over the past 10 years and the best two are hostgator and downtownhost. Pay a little extra and get decent hosting. In my experience downtownhost have the edge in terms of responsive servers.

@ jimmy - The baby plan is fine.
Yes, you use unlimited addon domains but it makes absolutely no difference to seo. You'll just have to be a little more organized in terms of naming mysql databases etc if you plan to have lots of sites on there.

For larger sites I go with dedicated servers from The Planet. But for my smaller sites, I do actually have godaddy, and hostgator. Hostgator is far superior.

From a technical standpoint, godaddy hosting is pretty good. If you do can do a lot of things yourself it's not too bad. But wait till you contact them. Their service is the absolute worst I've seen. Their main goal is get you off the phone fast enough, and they've even gone so far as to make up terminology to me to try and explain something and get me to call back. It's really bad.

Hostgator on the other hand gives you more for your money, and their people are a lot better. For small stuff, go with Hostgator, for big stuff the Planet is pretty good.

I use
Code:
underhost.us

$1.99/month US. and ~$4.99/month OFF-shore.

I too have taken baby plan for first month and i got it by my friends referral link.

I've got a server over at SoftLayer (http://softlayer.com). Expensive, but my favorite dedicated server company. Their support is phenomenal. Their management panel is more extensive than any other hosting company's that I have used.
