Google Keyword Tools is a very nice tool that provides you somewhat accurate results.
However, you should have a minimum of common sense and don't use it like stupid.

I was searching for Exact Match Domains and I came across one keyword that had all the domains available and 22k Exact Matches:

As you can see the keyword is "justin bieber baby music video". It has all the domains available:

So, why didn't I register? It's a EMD with .com available, 22k Exact Matches.
It looks awesome!
Well, you should analyse the keyword itself and use your common sense before registering it.

You should check Google Trends. "Justin Bieber Baby Music Video" was really searched a lot.. several months ago. Google Keyword tool just shows you the average searches, so even if it isn't searched at all right now, it will still show you high values which can lead you to a bad keyword research.

In this case, the keyword it's not searched at the moment, but it was in the past. There are other cases when Google Keyword tool may mislead you.
To sum up, you should always use your brain before registering.

PS: Enjoy the keyword. You are free to register since it is still available at the time of this post.

Thanks for the post. I use MNF for some keyword research and see a massive difference with Goog key tool, with the goog tool show way more searches than MNF.

I dont think you will get on #1 page so easy on that keyword. And ow do you monetize a justin bieber site, probably porn :))

in the end, we should probably use our instincts to either register or not register the domains. :tsk:

This is not about rankings, but on Keyword Research.
Keyword Research is underestimated by a large number of people. Finding a .com with 22k Exact Matches is not that easy, but even if you do find one, just think before you run and waste your reg fee.

I see that you are kinda new in BHW. Thanks should be given using thanks button ;)

I have used MNF before, mainly because of the brainstorming functionality. Market Samurai seems a lot better to me.

Maybe MNF shows you the estimated traffic that you will receive. Just read the manual and I'm sure that an appropriate answer will be there.
