Why You Shouldn't Support Occupy Wallstreet

Simply put, everyone that has participated in this post needs to get out there and vote next November. For OWS or against OWS don't just waste your breath, stand up and do something. Research your candidates and go vote, get your aunts uncles moms dads siblings and friends out there to vote. Its time for Americans to get their head out of their ass and start using the rights and freedoms our forefathers fought so hard to give us. :usa2:

Google: "Vox day wall street axis of evil", Occupy Washington and Wall Street

Nuff said.

Not sure what they'll be able to accomplish but at least an effort was made.

In short, rich people and Wall Street firms aren't responsible for this state of affairs. Free-spending Congressmen are.

Seriously?

He should take a look where all the Congressmen of Obama are coming from and who has been the biggest sponsor during elections.

I'm a follower of Dave Ramseys methodologies, here is his take on it:

Also, I don't know who came up with this image but it sure made me laugh.

Maybe its not the zoo keeper or the lion, maybe its US the people that visit the lion at the zoo!

It was their decision to take the money and then help them,if you don't like how a politician has helped the people that donated money to them then don't vote for that person.

And its better the way its setup now,if you don't know the people and groups that are donating money, then it will be just bribes. At first the FBI will be catching them, but then FBI agents will probably start taking bribes as well,so it will make things more corrupt.

Check out who got the most cash from Wall Street in the last 20 years... why it's little Bam Bam! Who would have guessed this rabble rouser is so deep in the pockets of the likes of BP and Goldman-Sachs? Talk about a hypocrite!

And while we're scoping out the OWS crowd check out who dominates that bunch of smelly slackers - they're overflowing with Marxists, Commies and the like. Even the US Nazi party supports these idiots - is it any wonder the Jew hatred is bubbling through the whole stinking crowd?

Liberals felt that everyone DESERVED a home(which is a narcissistic and illogical and not true cuz no one is entitled to anything but basic rights) so they put pressures on bankers to give out toxic loans. Bankers were like, yo, we'll do that, but let us leverage shit 50:1 (10x higher than what is considered pushing it). The bubbles burst and the government who started this mess bails the bankers out, we americans are left to pick up the bill.

The moral of this story is, yes, money has corrupted politics....
BUT
-It is the governments power that is allowing it to, not just big business
-First occupy Washington DC, then wall street
-The bankers are already paying back the bailouts with interest
-Taxing success to bridge the gap of social inequality is UNAMERICAN!!!

Money has always been in politics, even if you ban companies from donating to campaigns, then they will just bribe the politicians behind closed doors.

I agree with you...the fact of the matter is, the less power the government has, the better off we as individuals are. Big business is only as strong as the consumer allows it to be, 95% of americans love Wal-Mart despite people saying it is inhumane and unfair, 95% buy their products, but the people aren't forced to.

When it comes to government, what they say is law. If tomorrow they said you can only have one child, their is nothing you can do, if you have two, they will take the other from you...the government is a TRUE MONOPOLY, a monopoly in the commodity of POWER. Strip away as much power possible from them makes them less tempting to business, and makes them able to give special treatment to anyone for any reason. The protesters who arent flaming liberals or Marxists should Occupy DC and demand reform their, not challenge the institution of capitalism inadvertently.

But if you don't like the high tax rates of one country you can register a business in another country.

The protestors aren't hurting anything and Americans aren't taking them seriously. They aren't in the news very much anymore.

I wanted to check out the protest here in Chicago just for the hippie chicks.

Correct. The government of each country is to blame.

The lionkeeper (gov.) didnt check if the gate was locked, therefore the lions (banks) said fak it, lets have dinner for breakfast.

The government is the bastard of it all! All the fakin scandals in the past years.

Why do people keep voting for the same people over and over, and then when shit hits the fan they blame them for all the problems or the banks and companies.

Banks by nature are opposed to high risk. Once forced to buy bad paper their goal was to get it off their books. You tell me why would any bank buy the loans that were made during the bubble? Two reasons buy or die based on the fact the government said to and the other fact that the government would back it. If you apply common sense it works
