    Hey BHW,
I came across an article from evolver.fm saying that Twitter was piggy backing their itunes affiliate links on peoples itunes related tweets. basically what this means is that if you send a tweet saying something like "check out this new song itunes/affiliatelink".. Twitter will post their own itunes advertisement along with your tweet. the problem with this is that your affiliate link is only a text link, but the twitter affiliate link is a nice big itunes logo with play now buttons, so most likely your customer will click on the twitter link instead of your link thus giving twitter the affiliate commission.

read the article here from september 2012: http:eek:hwell:evolver.fm/2012/09/26/twitter-probably-just-became-the-biggest-itunes-affiliate-in-the-world/

Sorry ahead of time if this has already been discussed or resolved, i tried searching the threads but mostly got results for people buying/ selling itunes cards. I havn't done much more research on the topic. i don't do itunes and twitter but thought there would be some of you here who might benefit from reading this article.

Wouldn't just cloaking the link fix the problem?
