Why you should Consider not announcing your Goals

This isn't anything new and has been probably discussed on this forum before but publicly announcing your goals isn't a smart move.
When you tell someone a goal or a thing you're planning to do, for example: Quit smoking, lose weight or build an Instagram Empire, It releases dopamine in your brain as if you would have already completed that goal of yours making you less motivated to actually do it.

Only If you know the treasure of BHW is the journey threads, and I think keep a journey thread can keep self motivated also can exchange ideas with others, if a man is lazy then no matter private or public he just wont do it.

My journey threads can be extremely motivating if you stick to it
not my video, just something i found on youtube on the topic

I wouldn't feel like releasing dopamine when talking to other about my goals. On contrary, I'd become more frustrated because I felt like I wouldn't be able to accomplish that thing unless I let other people know.

Or perhaps, it was because the people I've been telling weren't quite excited about that?

However, I'd release dopamine in the cased mentioned by you. Anyway, I think this is the missing piece of my puzzle(that's why I procrastined and shit like that), so thanks a lot.

Gonna rake those $$$$.
