Why you got a MC999 and how to avoid it.

You could get a MC999 from Ebay when not following common stealth procedures.

There are four primary things that Ebay will use to link, suspend, or ban you.

1. IP Address

2. Browser and Flash Cookies

3. Personal Account Details

4. Same Account Activity

You can also get a MC999 from doing the following:

Buying and selling items on Ebay that are priced between 0.01 - 0.99.

Selling to much to fast on a new account.

Selling way to much at one time.

Selling certain items when the account is first made. Especially when the account does not have a good selling history.

The certain items are:


1. Brand new items, unopened, boxed, sealed.
2. Electronics.
3. Cell phones and cell phone accessories.
4. Name brand items.
5. VeRo items.
6. Digital items.
7. Counterfeit items.
8. High priced items.
9. Duplicate listing of the same item on a new account.

In my personal experience I sell household items, flea market items, and garage sale items for the first month on Ebay.

You want to let your sells rest after every sell. The only real bad MC999 I ever got was proof of merchandise that was hard to get past because I was selling way to much at one time. The account was even a top rated power seller that didn't have one negative feedback, one return, one opened case against me, or one bad message that was a complaint.

Other than that I have had no problems with any of my active stealth accounts doing what I have stated above.

Yes you can get a MC999 if someone reports you.

I didn't post that though because that is unavoidable if someone wants to report you they are going to.

95% of the time it's a competitor that has reported you.

Another way you might end up getting a MC999 is if you request higher selling limits. I personally never request higher selling limits because when you do you are going to be interrogated by Ebay and your account will be looked at. Even after you get accepted or rejected Ebay will be watching that account. I never rock the boat on any stealth account I have. I just make more accounts and I will have more sells. When you do establish a very long successful sales history on any account. Ebay will raise your selling limits automatically and that is how you want them raised.

I didn't post that either because thats a hit and miss on getting a MC999.

thank you so much for this post... i do have a few questions though... so when account hit 20k sells or ask for tax id you just dump the account?? also how do you go about withdrawing funds?? you send to a main account or something???
