Why xrumer is dead?

I was looking for some news about xrumer and saw that the project is more or less dead, in favor of GSA. Why? Are all the investments, configurations, etc. done on xrumer transferable to GSA?

It can still be used, they are making improvments. But when GSA appeared, they took a really bad hit...

GSA is better in every way worth a penny.
but xrumer still need some improvements
and GSA is becoming popular..........
