I created 2 hubs on the same day targeting the same kw "how to get into medical school with a low gpa"
(you need to search this keyword on Hubpage to find the hubs since I can't post URLs)
H2 got indexed in less than a week and ranks at 19 for the kw while H1 got indexed but not ranked. Both are similar in length and structure in terms of number of pictures, etc.
Using plagiarisma , I find that H1 is 67 % original while H2 is 26 % original.
Using online-utility , I find that H1 requires 4 years high school for comprehension while H2 requires 4 years of college for comprehension.
Using keyworddensity , I find that H1 is 4.04 % keyword density while H2 is 4.29 % keyword density
So it seems that either H2 is doing something right or H1 is doing something wrong.
Any thoughts or ideas as to what's driving this discrepancy in ranking?
