Hi,

Suppose I do fb ppc, why would someone buy from my shopify store rather than amazon, let's say I advertise a drone, user would just search the drone model in google/amazon and buy it cheaper there won't they?

Does this thing work, I have no money to advertise and I'm afraid it won't work.

Convenience mostly. If I do some shopping online for clothes and usually buy from JD's, and I end up clicking an ad for the same product from a different business, I usually end up buying there.

You need to have a big Differentiation on your offer then the other competitors, Example: by the price, service or content.
If you don't have any money for advertising you need to go for SEO or Social media, for SEO you have to find the right keywords to compete on. For Example: go for expansive competitors Drone company keywords, and make a LP that compere your product to the others and mark your product advantage, like price, technology, warranty, shipping and more..

About social media: you need to grind and find some good technology groups, or account to advertise for free..
You can also try to put your offer on some free affiliates programs.
Good luck mate :)
p.s
If you go for Facebook PPC make sure you can make minimum $50-40 dollars earning for each sale to cover your campaign spend :)

Man I'm just getting started but for one thing there's a ton of resources on YouTube you have Paul and the Caribbean guy and the Asian guy and Miss Boss and etc

Meanwhile I've been selling on eBay on and off for years and decades and AGES and the first advice I give anyone is, sales are low, FORGET LOWERING THE PRICES FORGET MAKING THEM COHERENT RELATIVE TO THE NEXT CHEAPEST IMBECILE
I can't even begin to count the times I have RAISED my prices and got sales going that way

I think you're out of your fkn mind playing with PPC if that's what you're talking about, I mean, without learning a lot first and if you don't have a good burn budget
That said a lot of people find gold that way so don't allow for me to dissuade you if you have the balls and the patience, either
Just be willing to put the work into learning a lot first you know?

Good luck there

It's all about content and convincing the user with the articles you provide them. Why should they buy from you? How good is the product your selling? What do people think who have purchased it? What kind of customer service do you provide? All of these are critical.

Create an edge for your shopping site. Offer good discounts, faster shipping time and top notch customer service.
You can buy a soap from a big super market or even from a small shop. Its all about Buyer's convenience.... As a marketer you should always tap into buyers expectation and win their trust.

Branding. My companies thrive on Shopify because we throw a ton of dough at our local modelling agency and influencer marketing to make sure our products are well-presented.

Amazon is for utilitarian stuff.
