I've seen a few products, and most of them are prohibited for paid promotion on these platforms.
The niche is self-help, nothing else.

I'm asking as a future vendor, is there a reason other than promoting there myself that I should prohibit my affiliates from going on GA/Bing?

be nice to make a list of what not allowed on bing and adwords ...

Individual reasons may vary, but one likely reason is if you're bidding on their brand or their preferred keywords, you're introducing more competition and driving up the CPC. If they're running ads themselves they get to keep 100% of the sale when anyone clicks and buys, but if affiliates are bidding and bringing in sales then they're losing out on 50%-75% of the sale (due to the affiliate's cut).

I see your point, thanks.

they want only their ads on keyword search for their product
