Why using cloudflare to mask your hosting provider matter?

Well cloudflare don't mask anything cause they forward immediately every dmca-request to your hosting provider.
But is awesome cause offer a lot of great stuff for free:
1) Free SSL certificate for unlimited domains
2) Great anti-ddos and firewall rules (you can block countries, ip's, isp's and much more.. yes you can do that also on your server but on cloud is really easy!
3) Amazing Rocketloader function that increase your site speed with 1 click (i think help to deliver better js files)
4) Caching function
5) Great for mask your pbn (you can create 50/100 different cloudflare account and you will get new IP and new nameservers everytime.. and the account don't need email confirmation

While i am not an employer of google, i can find if a website is hosted on the same hosting provider by MX records, which is a huge footprint. I think more skilled people can do much more than that, so don't count the pbn protection on that.

You can delete the MX records and use SMTP for your mail sendings (Sendgrid, Mailgun... Gmail...).
If you're planning on doing something illegal like streaming Cloudflare will not hide your details, under a court order they will hand over everything they know about you, just search https://torrentfreak.com/ and you'll learn how bulletproof not they are. Aside from that, they are great for anti-ddos and country blocking so is WP powered by Wordfence and you have full control of how you want to run it.

I have over 500 pbns on cloudflare for black hat niches (streaming, download, adult) and never had problem with google. For more serious niches i using multiplecloud and other hosting, but for more risky (and more worthy) niches seems that is working really good. 500 domain hosted at 100 usd - year hosting
(on multiplecloud or separate hosting for each domain you will pay 2/3 usd each domain monthly) Maybe im just lucky

Well i'll explain in short way: Cause these niches usually can be blocked by country, removed from google for dmca, hacked and a tons of other s**t can happen.. i buy expired domain (6/9 usd), add html css template (really easy to use and edit), place on them 1000/3000 word of cheap original content with 4/5 external authority backlinks and 1/2 links to my money sites, add my .htaccess custom file.. and publish them! That's all! I never come back to edit these sites. I know is a bad way to manage pbn's but i do that only for sites that i know will die in short term!
But if u make math.. 500 expired domains = 3500/4000 usd - hosting 100 usd - cheap content = 2000 usd.. total = 6/7000 usd. With that amount of pbn's you can get that money in 20/30 days.. and all new day will be net worth until all sites die.. and thank's God this s**t cloudflare method worked well for me entire 2019

You can't hide behind cloudflare fully with the normal default settings that you will find in the CL dashboard. You'll have to change some settings to do that.
Thank you for this , got question on expired domain , for $6/9 , what do you usually look for ? Their RD ? Majestic TF ? Ahrefs metrics ? Moz ? Im into it too , just still configuring what should i look for , and most of them usually taken below 6 hrs after they expired (the good ones) , and do you use many registrars on them all ? Like more than 10 registrars ?
So the assumption here is that you will be penalized by Google if your fake blogs and your money sites are hosted on the same shared host?
Does google really check these things?

recently i saw some post about gominer. co has been hacked but when i try to whois the site the name server is from cloudflare and the registrar is from namecheap, hows the hacker hacked the site if there is a cloudflare? sorry im curious and sorry also for bad english .
