Ok I am basically just wondering:
Why do we use proxies?

yes that can block our IP, but all routers give you a new IP when restarted/resetted....

So why?

Can anyone at least say that I am a stupid fool because I am wondering about this?

Not all routers give new IP's when reset. It depend on the internet service provider.

Further, even if they do give a new IP, it comes from a limited pool. As a result, you have a good chance of getting the same IP address, especially if you reset your router multiple times.

The process becomes faster with proxies and also, you need not to disconnect from the internet every time to change the IP.
