One of my favorite youtube video creators just posted this, and I think we can all learn from it. Facebook advertising and buying fake likes perpetuates a problem and will only HARM you.

he makes some interesting points but its also kind of irrelevant to a lot of people on here who already knew this, facebook ads can still work great and how there meant to you just have target well and niche, not just have a broad campaign. This guy did not once mention niche targeting i.e. only target people in France under 35 who like Ice Cube, DMX, snoop dogg and dr dre. This kind of targeting weeds out 99% of the crap.

The niche targeting wont matter either. It will help im sure, but not much. What the problem is, is that millions of these fake accounts like THOUSANDS of pages. If you are looking for Females in the united states under 25 that like Uggs, heels, puppys. You may find a mix of real and fake accounts. Now imagine you went more niche. The females under 25 have to like "face wash, skincare, and beauty products". Not many humans will "LIKE" these pages with an obvious marketing purpose. Some will. But you will most find bots that have randomly liked everything on facebook. MAking marketing to niches less effective. instead of having a small amount of active users, you have a small amount of active users in a pool of worthless accounts.

What if fb is intentionally sending 50% of your ads to targeted bots?</conspiracy>
