Why TikTok views are so random?

I uploaded about 12 tiktoks per day on my second day, was that too much?

Weird thing - some of them get 0 views, some get 1000 views. Seems like its random. Last ones got 0.

Do they think its too much tiktoks that I uploaded or they are bad quality?

Some I didn't put much effort into and didn't even show face, just some quotes or something like that.

Did you use hashtags on all the videos? If so, that's usually the problem. If you post multiple videos with the same hashtag, then it stays at 0 views. Probably because of spam.

If you didn't use hashtags, it might be because of your video. For example, if you use words like F*ck etc., then TikTok recognizes this very quickly and your video does not show up on the ForYou page.

What I would recommend: post only 2 videos a day and use 5 hashtags per video + a small text. By text, I don't mean something like "like my video" but something that is relevant to the video. Also, use viral TikTok sounds.
 
Have you checked to see if the timeframe you post your content impacts your views? I'm under the impression that views snowball as it increases so maybe there's some value in posting during times when there's typically more active users on or so.
 
Like stated before, timeframe and proper use of hashtags can make or break a tiktok, it is all about experimenting and looking what works for you.
 
you should upload 3 or 4 videos per day, and use hashtags for every video caption.
 
Use different hashtags, upload no more than 5 videos a day is better, and find some algorithm of TikTok
 
What GEO or country do you have your major audience? Check the time that they come online.
 
I'm just as random as you. Some of my videos have many views but some don't. I think you should change the posting time and include the hashtag # trending and remember to include impressive music for a good video

posting videos to view ratio is kinda random. some videos will sink
some will pickup views, same problem for all of us, post what works.
 
I've uploaded quite a few videos to TikTok I found an automated way of creating content for it.

I agree with you that it is kind of random, but at the same time, there are a lot of things under your control.

You can control the hashtags, you can control the description, and you can control the title.

So just experiment if you don't know who your competitors are.

But if you do have a good idea of who your competitors are and there's a lot of overlap between their content and yours you might want to try reverse-engineering them.

Now, what should you look for?

Look for their hashtags, look at how they name their video, and look at what they talk about.

I'm not talking about just copying them, or just mimicking what they're doing I'm talking about picking apart what they're doing to try to come up with some sort of principle or philosophy, or concept.

Don't just do this with one competitor, do this with all your biggest competitors.

Pretty soon you will be able to piece together something that works.

I'm using this technique and I'm beginning to see some results.

And I can understand it can get quite annoying waiting for results but you need to keep experimenting until you figure out which works best for you and scale that up.

the tiktok algorithm is really different than the others. your content, the hashtags you used, the music you choose could be the reason. You should examine the ones who get views and make more content like them
 
Once you get some followers, all videos will start getting views. You do not need to give up ever.
