Why those send cookies when submit in rss ?

Hi good morning to all,

Here is the list of cookies you get when you use rss submit

www.readablog
www.feedburner
www.goldenfeed
www.syndic8
technorati
pubsub
feed-directory
plazoo
icerocket

so why they use it and is it good to "ban those who send you cookies"

hi Wintermute,

just want to know why when i use rss submit
i see those on the list send cookies ??

why ? and good to do not submit to them if they send cookies ?

You notify their servers that your blog have been updated with new content and you do want to notify them. And why cookies? Probably to keep track of where and when you are submitting stuff.
