Why such a price?

It got Amazon in its name, given the worth of Amazon and that they're currently expanding in many different industries it wouldn't be unlikely something like Amazoncars would come into existence, hence the high price. You can assume they'd go with a .com, so now you'd have the .xyz version which means Amazon would probably try to buy it from you, given that you've purchased it before they started their official (theoretical) project.
 
Having the word amazon in the domain is very risky, I would not pay even 10 dollars for it.

No. The domain is worth $0. First of all, Amazon could just take the domain away from you at will. It's copyrighted.
Secondly, it's a .xyz. Buying it for $1 would be a waste of money.

So yeah, shill bidding 100%

I'd like to agree, but that may not entirely be true.
Same thing happened with a "fidgetspinner" domain a while ago on Flippa.
And if you want to go extra far into this, with a Hasbro domain years ago too.
It's weird, but somehow it happens.

Trust me on this one. They're shills and the domain is eventually going to get taken down.

I had to transfer it to them. I guess if I didn't they would take me to court. I dragged it out for quite some time telling the lawyer to prove she worked for Hasbro.

So I guess you would have the chance to fight it in court. Wouldn't be a wise move though.

I can reg mybigextracarlover.com right now and put it up for sale $100000.
 
I highly doubt anyone would pay 33k on that domain.
 
I can almost guarantee that these are fake bids by the owner himself. He's trying hard to get the attention of other buyers and hoping that a real buyer will place a bid on this domain
