Why some use "domain name" in meta "title" ?

I think that the 2nd one will be better because it contains more keywords.

i also put my domain name on the title tag for some of my pages
it helps reaffirms G that your site really is what you claim to be, esp if the domain name is totally related to your niche
its helping for me
another way is to use combination or url and keywords on the title
just be sure it is strategically placed and not need to look like stuffed
