Why some unimportant blog posts have high PR?

I have found some blog posts that have PR2 and no comments on them, the post itself is short and nothing spectacular. The blog domains sometimes have also the PR2 or PR3. How come some pointless posts have that high PR?

Because what's most pointless, useless to you, is of UTMOST Important to google, don't forget, Small things matters alot.

PR2 is not a high PR. Plus PR is not about content it's about backlinks

PR is not all about quality. PR 1 and 2 are easy to achieve...simply make a blog and let it age. It will have PR2 after a while.
