True, on top of that, scrappers are systematically used in ig automation in order to gather and then filter potential follow targets
In general, scrappers collect all sorts of information, when used on ig, they can get any of the info displayed on the page and even hidden info

It depends on what type of scrapers you are talking about.

The most common use right now is to have scraper accounts perform API calls for the main account so the main account has a lower chance of getting blocks.

If you mean why should you scrap a target list - it helps you to reach your potential audience/clients. I mean you could scrape users from accounts you like and perform any actions with them ( follow/like/send dms and so on)
