Why Reddit is everywhere in your search results​

1. Reddit is a very, very useful resource that covers many, many topics

I dont know why redditers gives free content to google without links (ex no affiliate links and no cpa links).
It doesn't stop there, linkediners are doing same thing. No links in the articles. I know why they do this on LinkedIn it helps to brand company page or linkediners profile depending on where it's posted on LinkedIn.

But redditers get nothing so why they post free content for google or I am missing something here?

my bad, I only skimmed through your post :)

I don't know what they get in return, but like most social media users those people have never heard of SEO, nor do they care about it... or even about making money. The beautiful thing about communities is that they're usually built around common interests, of which money is rarely among. They mostly care about socializing with, and helping each other, so they're not desperate about posting links...

Also, karma! Karma is Reddit's currency, but I don't remember what it's used for, all I know is that it's important and it's the limiting factor in many things that redditors can, or can't do.

This has been true for a few years, but is far more prevalent now. Also Reddit content indexes and ranks extremely quickly. Even profile posts on fresh accounts get indexed very fast there.
