Why Proxies?

Why are they important to have?

everytime I have tried to put one on I cannot get onto the internet or its snail speed.

Lots of reasons. The main one would be to use multiple accounts for something without them all appearing to be owned by the same person. Another reason is to repeatedly do something that is limited to once per IP.

You just need better proxies.
