Why people call THEMSELVES noobs?!

I'm preatty confused here.I saw a lot of people on many forums,having usernames like N00b,Pro.noob or things like this,I hope you got my idea.

Can you tell me why they choosed this kind a username?Everybody knows what a n00b is,and most of the people that are "noobs" they don't know it.
some people call others n00bs because they are begginers in some domain activity,but even in this case,this will create a bad image.
So,assuming as i said above,that someone who is n00b dosen't know it,why a smarter person would like to have a noob image?

I tought at houndred of disatvantages of having the "noob" word in your nickname or be considered a noob,so why people still do it?

For example,we have a user here called "IM.Noob" or something like that.
From my POV that is a person that dosen't want to learn IM,or can't learn it,and is beeing here just to make harm to others.Anyway,this isn't the case of Im.Noob because he's obviously not a noob,but why he choosed this username?

Yea,but assuming they don't know they are noobs,they can't be noobs if they have this in their usernames,right?

It's like crazy people not knowing they're crazy...same with the noobs,they have the perception that they're right and they are above...so they couldn't be considering themselves "noob"

I think the real question is "do we actually care?" :)
 
More than likely they were not thinking long-term. I have seen a bunch of usernames like that and the person has been on the forum for over two years. Obviously they are no longer a Noob, but they were when they chose the name.

Just my thoughts. People use all the time username's like "Osama" and "Saddam", so does this creates a bad image? And by the way I am not a toad. :p

And the answer for the above question,is because YOU CAN!

All of us are judging people,even if we like to admit or not,but without lieing ourselves in some moments,life would be much harder...or maybe not...

I can't work 24/7 I need my time to relax.Maybe thinking at shits,creates a relaxing feeling for me.Maybe thinking at shits i'll discover something that will change my life forever,in a better way I'd like to think,but the viceversa can happen witht he same chanses.

When a apple falled onto newton's head,he started thinking why was that happening.Of course at that time,most of people would consider it useless,not having what to do then thinking and asking stupid questions,but it was really useless,was it really a stupid thing to think about it?
 
I can give you 2 reasons :

1. Its their wish to select their username.
2. Who knows they wont be changing the definition of noob by their talents?

Where was the theory in my post?

I just gave you an example,hoping you'll understand something better then you would without it.

But why are we changing the subject?

Also,I don't understad where or why you think i'm comparing.
 
Maybe they don't see the negative side of it as you do.
