i see lot of videos that have millions of views but channels which have this videos hiding subscribers count, why they are doing this?
why people are hiding subscriber count?

It's the same reason that people hide the post score on reddit, because it coerces people to follow the trend (thumbs down etc). So when people see a 500k+ video with good interaction and 5 subs, they know it's a bullshit channel. But if they can't see the subs, they're more likely to sub just to see what's going on.Believe it or not, some people don't search through the channel, but rather just subscribe to see what other videos come up.

It's always amazed me how ppl just watch video and never watch anything else on the channel. shows you just how short attention spans are i guess

Maybe they have less subs and videos have got loads of views or they just wanted to do that.
