It just occurred to me.

Why can't you put up the link of a website that is not yours and just say it's yours.Keeping in mind that it is related to CPA etc.
Do they verify or something?

you can and get away with it, some places will try you out and call your bluff.

Many people do that, but that's one of the reasons why most aff networks want to speak to you on the phone prior to approving you. Most of the people who bullshit in their application will not be able to answer random questions about their site / promo methods during the phone interview and their applications will therefore be denied.

I've just bought a new website and wrote 1 article on it. I said how I plan to promote the offers and adworkmedia accepted me within 1 day. No reason to lie :)

Got it.Not gonna try it though, was just wondering :P

Anyways I'm gonna get a domain today and so will be applying to a few networks.

Many will verify, but you can get away with it, in most instances. But rather than taking the risk and going through all the trouble, why not just have your own site? That way, you can [ideally] gain repeat customers.

I do that whenever i'm interested in an offer i see on CJ, because those advertisers will usually deny you if you don't already have a site.

With CPA networks you can just try to put "adwords.google.com" or something else. I just put my DBA site which is nothing but a blank page with my logo in the middle and a contact button in the footer.

Why not buy an old domain, wget the whole website, and say that one is yours? Just put noarchive nocache in the head section and if the company asks is the website new say no, you dunno why it isn't in waybackmachine, your webdesigner designed it for you ages ago. You just write the blog posts/content.

I honestly don't know what peoples problems are when it comes to joining a CPA network.

I've never been declined and I'm far from the most experienced out there.

Just be honest, thats all I've ever been and it's never failed me!

So i'm considering buying a domain for my gaming niche and using content locker on it.

Would it be ok if I posted all my different stuff like cracks/keygens/hacks of different types of games in one site? Or would it be confusing.

Thanks!

Make sections and write articels for it, there wont be much to be confused about it
