As per title say, why fewer people use this crypto when there are no fees associated with them, unlike BTC?

Can anyone who is prone to crypto transaction enlighten me?

Exactly BTC is not really a good way for a small payment. The small transactions volume is bigger.

Fees are low on EOS? Maybe just because nobody is using them. There are issues on how the blockchain operates. Mining is hard and issuing smart contracts is more expensive than on Ethereum.

Pardon me, guys. Not really an expert but recently, there's a guy sent me $300 worth of crypto. At first, it should be BTC, but I guess my curiosity gets me, so I told him to send me $300 worth of EOS instead. He did, and I withdraw that coin to cash to my bank around $298. With BTC, the fees go about $10-$20 and have to wait more than a day for confirmation.

So is it really still shyt? I'm super confused since the benefit of transacting with EOS is faster and lesser fees.

PS. When I say transfer, it means I sold the coin before transfer to the bank.

Thats not nothing
24 Hour Volume$2,485,504,992 USD
Compared to BTC
24 Hour Volume$75,633,805,167 USD

Because Bitcoin is the name you hear on the news
Its easier to trade against BTC

If you want low fees try NEO, or IOTA for no fees at all
