This is a great tool but with a lot of drawbacks.

If I am not wrong:

  • You can't see the URLs that are indexed except by copy-pasting them one by one
  • You can't be alerted if an URL is suddenly removed from the Google index
I doubt it can be automated, but I wonder if someone tried. Or if I missed something.

This would be a must-have tool, no? Sometimes, an URL is just removed from the index. Poof. A small traffic drop. And you even don't notice it.

To clarify why I am asking this question: I have a blog post visited twice daily. Yep, it's nothing. But for this blog, it's 1% of my daily traffic. The post has been deindexed, and I didn't notice it for weeks. There is something wrong with my approach, I guess. How do you deal with that issue?
