The way I see it, people are zebras, Google is lions, SEO guys are hyenas.

Why people focus on things they don't control is beyond my understanding.
 
They're in a hurry to implement their AI into search results. I'm pretty sure no big updates until Bard is live.
 
They are constantly updating the algo, just because you didn't notice a massive change doesn't mean the rolling updates aren't happening.

Have you checked the unofficial updates ? Already 2 updates this month.
 
I've been destroyed by some update. Gone from 6k keywords on Semrush to 1.6 in a week
 
Well lets hope google will not give any update this year .because many blogs are afected when a update its given

Well, the whole SEO game seems to be about keeping close eye on things we don't control. And changing our ways accordingly.

Although you might not have noticed a major change, the algorithm is constantly updated.
 
maybe, and most probably since they re-located resource budget to BARD instead along with the yearly layoffs?
 
They might be doing small updated, right now seems they are busy with chatgpt,but make sure when they release an update will be really big or several updates this is the calm before the storm.
