Why no notifications?

I tested liking and repinning a pin from one of my accounts with one of my other accounts, and the account with the pin being liked didn't get any kind of notification.

I wanted to try a technique where I like peoples pins, but that wouldn't be much use if they don't get the notification.

maybe there's a delay. check again in a few hours. i'm noticing some bugginess in pinterest overall such as getting a 502 error when checking my analytics.
