why no blogspot?

i see people prefer not to use blogspot, and rather purchase a domain or something like that, why is that? What are the benefits of this rather then get a blog for free from blogger?

oh no i put this on black hat I'm sorry mods. I'm newbie, and this is a newbie questions. My bad.
 
The problem is if Google deletes your blog. You lose everything.

u cannot sell your blog , u get adsense account fast with domain and many more
 
You can use blogspot with your own domain. If I am keeping a copy of exported blog I really don't care if google close my blog - I'll have the domain and an archive of the content so it is easy to import it in WP blog and you are again playing the game

So i guess you can still earn adsense even if you export to wordpress for example? I have to figure out how to switch it over. I guess i have to pay, and figure out how to leverage my site, however my site does not have product yet, it is just like a diary at the moment. I don't think that nets money lol.

sure, the idea to export it is if somebody reports your blog and IF blogspot delete the blog. There is not a lot of sense to export it if it is running and gaining money

after you are ready with your blog export it from admin panel - see Settings > Main > Export blog

keep the file on your HD

if some day blogger delete your blog just get a host, install WP and import the archive

You also get adsense account approved fast if you use blogger.

I'm not sure why someone wouldn't be able to sell the blog if it is a blogspot one... hm
