when i chek i have:
0 backlinks from google
324 from yahoo
This does not mean that you are sandboxed(you won't find your site from google if you were). One of my sites is reported by YSE to have more than 2k links, while G shows only around 100...
Is this normal ? Probably yes, since they are very different engines, so I don't think you should worry, if you are getting traffic
Many people find google show less backlinks than other search engines as has been said if you were sandboexed your site wouldn't show up at all. It's thought search engines don't show all the backlinks anyway so competitors can't just copy them all. I have no proof of this though. HTH
Google never shows all the backlinks. Plus it takes time Google to show any of your backlinks. So I think it is normal, do not worry about it.
remove the www. or add the www.
Try it both ways
It makes a huge difference
If you are searching with the link:url operator then stop, use siteexplorer or google.com/webmasters. The link:url operator tells me that I have 0 backlinks to one of my sites, yet google webmasters tells me that I have 51, siteexplorer tells me that I have 33, backlinkwatch says i have 31. Use backlinkwatch, and google webmaster
I'd suggest just keep on building backlinks without worrying about how search engines display the number of backlinks to your sites.
I always just use Yahoo Site Explorer for tracking backlinks. Google is WAY too slow at it
Yeah...you can't depend on Google to show all your backlinks, for some reason they like to hide them on us.
However, check Yahoo SiteExplorer for more accurate of a backlink count:
Separate names with a comma.
