I have merge two wordpress blogs into one, after few days left my redirected blog posts rank dropped. I used 301 redirection method. How to gain my lost rank? Should I again create new Backlinks or wait for a few weeks?

This is quite natural .. this will take time as Google need to reindex all the backlinks and pass all the value of the previous domain to the new ones and one to make myself clear that there is no certainty that you ranking will get back to its former position .. 301 is just a directive and nothing else

this is absolutely usual when you move content.. it takes some time for G to find out what happened, and process the new urls and give them rank again..

Major website overhauls, including 301's, are prone to crash and burn.

    Read more about it.

Sorry, but at least you learned not to do that again in the future.

It may or may not recover. If you have really done proper 301's there is a chance your new site can regain the old traffic. Its a major gamble though, a good rule of thumb is don't overhaul a website that is making money unless you can afford to lose the money it makes.
