hello,

I am doing SEO for a website but one keyword which is on no 3 never gets 1st ranking. I have tried everything but still don't able to find the solution.

Please help me with it.

How long have you been trying, and how many referring domains do you have?

Then you have to figure out why the other site is ranking above your client's. Do they have better content or better backlinks?

I am doing this even my backlinks are better than theirs. Is there any solution

Then you have to figure out what Google likes better about your competition. This might be hard, because noone outside knows their exact algorithm.

Should I increase my On page blog post or backlinking?

Have you tried testing different meta descriptions? Links will only get you so far, when you are in the top 3 it often comes down to user metrics such as CTR.

If you change your description and more users click on your page rather than position 1 or 2, this will send positive signals to G and they may move your site up.

On the other hand, if users click on your site and don't find the information they want, they will click back to the SERPs and try a different page. This will send negative signals and may prevent your page from moving up.

Of course, this is just one area to explore. There are lots of reasons why a site may not be #1. Quality of backlinks is another one.

have check your competitor in rank 1?
what they have that you don't have , what kind of backlink, content, they have.
how they site show when you goggle them? etc2

It depends on various factors, go for some HQ niche edits and guest posts.

Yes, I tried, but Google is not showing the description of what I have written instead of the description it is showing some random content from onpage.
