Hi,

I facing this issue for the past few months.

One of my site's posts ranked #1 for keyword volume of 150 according to ahrefs.

It's getting 100 traffic according to ahrefs.

And I also checked my site ranking manually with this

https://www.google.com/search?q=cars&gl=us&pws=0
And also used this tool too https://spyserp.com/serp-checker/

I can see that I am ranking 1# for that particular keyword.

Then why I am not getting clicks or impressions in the GSC? nor I am getting any page views.

Could anyone tell me what's the issue?

Thank you.

GSC takes some time to update its not instant. The 100 or 150 searches per month is just estimated I never find them to be exact 100 searches a month is 3 per day based on a 28 day cycle.

Just because you are no.1 does not mean people will click its all down to the intent and what people are looking for, example no point ranking a blog post if every other result is a video. Not to mention seasonality plays a big part of it.

But at least it should get some impression in the GSC.

Yes, there are a few videos in the SERPs but mostly forums and low-authority blogs.

No, It's not seasonal.

Looks, like there is no search intent for a particular keyword.

How old is the site? If its a new domain it can take weeks to start registering data. It could just be that search term is dead. Have you tried to click on it (private window and not logged in) and check back in 18-24hr to see if its recorded?

Check google trends for the same keyword and see if people are actually looking for it

Maybe only less then few people search for that search query, this might be reason for low impressions

Its an expired domain.

then the volume that ahrefs showed is bullshit, that kw must have 0 volume

Unpopular opinion: Ahrefs traffic estimation and keyword difficulty is sh*t. I use Ubersuggest, much better.

Here are the ten steps to rank for a keyword in Google.
  1. Step 1: Lay the Groundwork. ...
  2. Step 2: Do Your Initial Keyword Research. ...
  3. Step 3: Check Out the Competition. ...
  4. Step 4: Consider Intent. ...
  5. Step 5: Conceptualize the Content. ...
  6. Step 6: Execute. ...
  7. Step 7: Optimize for Your Keyword. ...
  8. Step 8: Publish.

This could be the reason, a blacklisted domain?
Just a speculation. Give it some time and rank more keywords.
At least 25% of my posts are ranking on 1st page. While others 2, 3 and so on.

And this is not the only post that getting traffic ( according to ahrefs) but there are 2 more posts.
