Im new to the IM and CPA games here, im reading how everyone has multiple networks they work for....what is the reason for this? wouldnt it be better to just send all your traffic to one spot? Thanks for replies

No, the whole goal especially with BlackHat is to stay under the radar. You can do this by spreading out your earnings through multiple networks. It's just an extra measure of safety.

Even if your WH putting all your eggs in one basket is NOT a good idea.

The overarching reality is that Merchants pick networks for a variety of reasons. And that IMers pick networks for a variety of reasons... And the reasons are never clear, and rarely the same.

The other thing to consider is that Networks have the unique ability to "set the rules" and play one side against the other. Especially if the network is also selling their AM capacity to their Merchants.

What this means is that a network can suddenly decide that Merchant X has too many affiliates and can change the rules such that the Merchant won't realize that the Network just dumped 25% of their affiliates... Often for "TOS" type violations. Which reduces their workload and lets the network keep the payouts to those dumped (since they ever so conveniently make the rules).

So, just as you would want a variety of investments from a variety of sources in your retirement portfolio you need a variety of networks that supply a variety of merchants for your online efforts. So you can diversify your income while reducing the risk that any one network/merchant can screw you.

One or two networks might be OK to start with so that you can learn what you're doing. Later though....

Aside from the safety issues, having several networks worth of offers/products to choose from gives you a greater chance of finding something that you can successfully market. Idealy you would want to use a rotator script to test several different offers/products in the same niche with a patucular traffic stream. Again, the more networks you are affiliated with, the more options you will have.

got to keep in mind that the networks pay different rates as well

So by checking out and joining quite a few you will have the pick of the offers
Once you get into it and are worth more to some networks you can also get a bump mentioning that other networks are paying more.

When you join a few networks make sure you open free accounts at affspy and offer vault (both . coms)

Here you can save a massive amount of time as you can search or browse loads of networks at one time AND see what the payout is on other networks for the same offer

Hope that helps someone.

just remember they are all in the biz of making money

You need to sound like you know what you are saying/doing

Remember to have answers to the most common questions they will ask and have a few questions yourself.

I would always advice you calling them after a few hours of submitting your application to get accepted. Have the attitude that you are just phoning to get accepted so who do I need to speak to, to get this done.
