Why isn't my hyperlinked word text hyperlinked when I convert it to pdf?

I made a word document and hyperlinked a text in it. I then converted it to pdf but the part I hyperlinked was no longer a clickable link. What can I do to make the pdf version a clickable link?

P.S. Sorry if this is the wrong forum but I didn't know where else to ask.

using ms office 2007/2010 you can save your word documents as a pdf right on spot, grab a copy and try it
