I started seeing some videos from last week that some big channels ranging from 30k to 520k subs are getting demonetized also not just the AI ones also the authentic ones who manually does everything.

Is it a new update of youtube? I added two of them below the first one is a explainer type channel which uses AI voiceover but the editing is manual and the second one does everything manually

It's not just a glitch or a random update - YouTube has significantly raised the bar for what they call Transformative Value.
The Inauthentic content flag is the new Reused Content on steroids. Even if you spend 20 hours manually editing an anime tribute or a flight review, YT's AI now looks at the ratio of original vs. borrowed assets. If the core of the video is still someone else's footage and your manual work is just transitions and subtitles, they’ll flag it as mass-produced or repetitive.
Basically, manual editing isn't a safety net anymore if you aren't adding a massive amount of unique commentary or educational value. It's a tough time for curation channels.

Yes, YouTube seems to be tightening monetization checks lately, so even manual channels can get flagged if the content feels too repetitive or low-value adding more originality and personal input usually helps.

YouTube’s been hitting reused and low effort content way harder lately. Seen a lot of channels lose monetization even with decent views. Feels like they want more original/commentary style content now instead of mass produced stuff.

Yes, YouTube seems to be doing a stricter “reused/low-value content” crackdown recently. It’s not only AI channels even manual channels can get flagged if the content feels repetitive, templated, or not transformative enough.

AI voice alone is usually not the problem. YouTube now focuses more on originality, personality, and unique value.

The system is taken over by AI, and that’s the biggest problem. Plus, it’s much harder to reach the YouTube team if you run into issues like this.

The thing is, no one really knows exactly what prevents it from happening. If YouTube gave clear dos and donts, people would quickly find ways around them. YouTube prefer to keep things vague.

They're going hard on clip videos. YouTube updated their reused content policy, and they no longer supports people just clipping clips from popular shows, and lightly editing them. You have to create real value for your audience including indepth reviews, and not just low effort spam

currently YT is adding such updates, that the channels that doesn't creating value able content or repeating content so they de-monetizing the those channels.
