Why is "view page indexing" grayed out on my sitemap?

I submitted a sitemap and even though it says "5 pages detected" as it should, when I go to other parts of Search Console, these pages are nowhere to be found. There is no trace of any pages detected by Google. And this site has been up for 10 days. What is wrong?
