Why can't everyone just chill out, stop being paranoid, and get back to the topic at hand? Not only do these discussions agitate people, they also seperate BHW as a community, which isn't ever a good thing.

Yep, I agree. Its called technology! Internet, cell phones, solar energy, and anything else that makes our lives more convenient and, most importantly, that can be SOLD for a price!

Even the things that generally can help us has a price tag on it, simply because of the way this system was set up. Money BUYS freedom, and political dexterity, and guess what: MAYBE we should be talking or asking ourselves "well how did I hear about that conspiracy theory I'm spewing to my buddy?"

Its called MARKETING, and more importantly, EXPLOITATION! Thats what we are learning here. So I guess what the OP is asking is, why are you guys, who came here to learn how to exploit people and trick them into doing what you want or believe what you want to get cash, falling for the same tricks your pulling on someone else to make money?

It always baffled me when I see someone who basically screws people indirectly (cause alot of business owners play on either two things, ignorance or lazyness, or both!) for a living scream "hallau-ya!" in church, who plays on peoples ignorance, when at the same time, there falling for the same act and don't even know it. I mean, were you THERE when that book was written? How do you know?

We learn how to make cults of customers here at BHW, not be a part of one.

Granted, there are some "woo woo" things I beleave make since, but then again, I didn't have to buy something or put money into someones plate to learn it. Experience is the best teacher.

I find that very disrespectful. Not only have i done my research and weighed up BOTH sides of each argument, it is fundamentally wrong to assume the things you did.

Look, the internet is a free place. If i put a video on youtube with the title "amerikhan is a homosexual" and used random stats like "97.8% of all conspiracy theorists are gay" etc. and made some random connection that BHW supports secret societies by finding a random abstract comment in some webpage etc. would you believe it? i hope not. But i think some people would.

If *YOU* had done your research and actually looked at how the free press works (hence the title "free"), you'd understand why it is impossible for most propoganda to exist.

That is ... unless some secret society controls the world and thus the news? are they aliens aswell?

Major cover ups do happen, but they don't last and they leak. When the UK princes went to the frontline, the government asked all the press to not say anything, it worked for about 2 weeks, then word got out because there was too much money in printing the story.

Let people assess the situation themselves without pointing at them where to go.

Just remember the internet is a free place, and whilst this is it's biggest advantage, it's also its biggest disadvantage too.
