Why is there so low engagement ?

So recently I spend some time looking through Instagram and I noticed, that a lot of Big Accounts ( talking bout 1M+ ) are having very very low engagement.

Some posts got 5k/L and only 50-100/C, is that because the Girls, fashion,food niche are not very well engaged?
I mean those niches got by far the most followers on IG but in my Opinion very low engagement, If you look for example at a Comedy Page , they mostly get
about 50k+ likes and 10k Comments.

I was thinking about going into the Girls/Fashion niche but after seen that there isnt that much engagement i dont know what to do

It depends. I am in the adult and babe niche mostly and my engagement is really really good. I am building a new account for a client that I started it from 0 and in one month I already reached 26K with a engagement of 1k to 1.5k likes per picture, which I consider really good.

People think they can create an account, win some followers and buy half a million and that they already have a quality account. And instagram is much more than that.

Always quality rather than quantity.

I'm currently growing an account which has 2.5k followers. Engagement has been dropping from 25% to 9% atm. Is that usual? Does like ratio droo for you too?

When I researched some big accounts engagement last month, the average for 1M+ accounts is 1-2%.
Definitely seems low...

I jut started my own babe niche and for the last two months I have been stuck with 2000+ followers and average about 100 likes with few comments. Can you please give me some advice on how you have been so successful. I am fairly new, i even bought followliker but it not doing the trick. Any help would be appreciated.

Your doing your research before you commit, that's a really good thing to do. Make sure you only invest your time and money in a niche that has the best possible chance of a good out come. Sounds like you would be better off researching different niches.
