Why is the ranking so bad

Hello, I have a website for approximately 2 months, I think I am very good at seo and content. I also supported it with quality backlinks.

But even my best articles rank 60 to 80 in search results.

What could be the reason for this?

@pollow Rome wasn't built in a day so you must be persistent and work on your site for at least 6 months and focus on cross channeling your content marketing efforts. Trust me, it will come when it's meant to come. Work with an objective and focus on a plan of action.

Cheap SEO on competitive keywords worth $47 isn't dead.

They confuse volume keyword SEO with high competition SEO.

If you have 30k of traffic, that's valued on ahrefs at $47 it's not likely to be valuable, and it's definitely not likely to contain high comp keywords.

The guy I replied to was trying to say he ranked with a fresh, brandable site in 3 months for high comp keywords.

He showed an expired/auction domain and ranking for low comp/low value keywords.

My reply was sarcasm.

These are ok if you have 1000 sites and plan to monetize with CPA lockers / offers. Then they have some value but that's only because of insane volume. Spam.

It's just affiliate marketing for startup capital.

Most will give up after 1 site as that traffic is shit. And it takes 1000 sites.

1000 sites is already $10k in domain investments. It's cheaper to do social media these days.

Possibly, you're writing alot of what is already on the internet. Google is now smarter after the HCU.
Try doing "allintitle:[seed keyword]" search on google. If you get more than 100 results with high DA sites, push that article down.
Remember: I didn't say don't write it, but push it down the queue.

Personally, i only write articles that give me an allintitle score between 0 - 10.

Due to the google core update. Don't Worry

Just try to cover super low competition keywords from your niche and see what's results you are getting.
Unfortunately this doesn't work, because I know I'm doing very good keyword research and yet the rankings are very low.

I include serp values, readability score, competitor analysis.

Bcz, we can't do anything. Only wait until google rolling out is not completed.

That's what happens at first.

Even if you get up there, you're gonna get bottlenecked.

It's largely pay to play these days. Search rankings are completely screwed, the only way to guarantee eyes on your listings is to pay Google to promote them unfortunately.

If you want to improve rankings then you just need to keep on with the same BS that has always worked, more content and more links. It is not overly complicated once you have your on page stuff sorted, it's just time and effort.

You can promote your website in Quora and gain some more traffic. Focus on your on-page SEO.

Brother don't worry. It takes about 6 to 12 month to rank. As you are confident about your SEO Skills and content, just wait for more 6 to 8 month.

Consistency is important in SEO.

When your rank starts shifting down for a bit, stay the same course.

One of the biggest pieces of information to come from the Google "leaks" (even though a lot of it is deprecated) a few months back was that traffic is a factor of ranking. Not that that was any "news", but the small confirmation was nice.

Send traffic to your best articles and see what happens.

New websites often take time to gain trust and authority in search engines. Keep going well :)
