Why are context backlinks more powerful than forum profiles, blog comments, and common backlinks ?

Isn't the most important thing in a backlink a hyperlink or anchor text?

Thank you in advance for your reply

because they are harder to get... well, they used to be harder to get anyway. And because they are surrounded by content relevant to the website they are pointing to and google is madly in love with relevancy

Because they wouldn't be directly in the content if they didn't strengthen the content. The content gives the backlink a framework, increasing its authority and providing value for the readers.

Contextual links improves your site trustworthiness. It is a way to offer more quality information to your reader. It help to join chunks of one topic scattered across the website.
Contextual links result in lower bounce rate. They help search engine in developing relevancy factor for both the pages. So Contextual links are beneficial from both user and search engine.

It helps users to navigate through the content easily and results in lower bounce rates.
When used wisely within the text and looks natural, it helps more .

as a noob, anyone can answer what is Contextual links and give some example of this link. thanks

Contextual backlinks are inbound links to a web page or URL that have been defined by anchor text at the originating end. While “anchor text” is commonly used to describe any text that contains an embedded link, “contextual” is a little more exact in its relevance to the destination information. The term “contextual” refers to the fact that instead of merely linking to a new URL without any type of definition, the originating site administrator has added context to it by linking it from a relevant word or phrase.

That was true long ago.

Now links aren't just isolated html any more.

Even clicks / traffic make a difference when measuring the quality of a link, since they're tracking user activity all over the WWW.

Because it's more purposeful as compared to a random link which can be marked as spam

To express my heartfelt gratitude to the opinion of you!

Contextual backlinks are the one that comes with a flow. It looks natural and is effective than a "click here" link. Those links are difficult to acquire.

Context backlinks are powerful because they are created within a content context. In other words, people didn't just link their names on a blog comment or use a naked URL in some sort of a Web 2.0 or forum profile.

Instead, these links appear "naturally" within relevant content. If you want to maximize the value of your context backlinks, you should do guest posts on niche-related blogs and websites.

The niche relevance would increase the SEO value of those links. Still, a little bit of context can go a long way when it comes to backlink firepower.

How do you maximize context? Well, pay attention to the following factors.
  • What's the niche of the site the backlink appears on?
  • Is the backlink using an anchor tag that is directly related to your target keyword.
  • Is the backlink coming from a piece of content that is directly related to your site?
  • Does the page naturally get traffic [Does the page the backlink appears in naturally get traffic from Google?

The more contextual your backlinks, the more powerful they are.

Let me clue you in on a secret.

High-context backlinks are not easy to get. But they are definitely worth your time because they give you a competitive advantage.

Your competitors would have to jump through many hoops to get such links. If you put in the time and go through all that extra effort, you will be able to beat your competitors. They, on the other hand, would focus on cheaper and easier links.

This. Outreaching to bloggers within your niche is a perfect way to get these. The post will be relevant to your product / service, as will be the whole blog. I definitely see much better results from these types of links.
