Why is software engineers are still aggregated in places like Silicon Valley?

I mean software job can be easily outsourced. So why do people willing to pay premium price while they can pay maybe 10 Software engineers for the same amount of money??

But is it guaranteed that if a Software Engineer is in Silicon Valley then it is better than all Engineer from developing countries??

I second this ^^^, but also Silicon Valley is primarily where a lot of VC firms and big Angel Investor money is. Realistically, it makes sense for the companies to be near where their large initial capital comes from and that's why you see a lot of companies stick around as they go from Series A to B, C, etc. Once you're been grounded to a physical location and have 30+ employees with employee stock options, it's a lot harder to convince them all to up and move to Seattle for cheaper rent.

Then why not just do financing in Silicon Valley but do hiring online so that they can make use of cheap labor?

A lot of software developers from developing countries that become good enough move to silicon valley or other places where they make more money

way of life i have been to siliocon vally and meet some really good programmers and microsoft exsperts.

the life of a geek is in silicon and it fun.

i wake up in the morning, i go to the cafe strightaway laptops on tables and programmers de bugging apps real fun .

even in the evening you can watch hackers real programmers challenge eachover break into there own systems, on timers who best really good fun .

watching ppl read the top black books on secuity free lectures from the real deal.

even thu a room cost from $700 to $1500 a week and a home 2k to 5k a week , really worth being there .

getting a job your head hunted via your knowledge.

brillant place to mingle with the best .

even the 13 year olds are exspert programers for fun.

children love the games programing but no the programming lanuage inside out.

amazing place .

was there two weeks years back but yes a wonderfull place to live and work.

income can be from 50k to 300k depends what you no, and what level you understand computers .

the only place you get paid the same as owning a business in paid salary

even the secuity door pass are even fun just having one ...

the only bad part is keeping up with the in depth programming talk go on all day from one person to another ....

everyone there has a website just like facebook lol ...

as you can guess everyone loves facebook there , and there huge amount of facebook and microsoft staff around town.

you can sit in groups and learn programming free and networking free everyone proves there king ...

I contract a lot of development work out and I can tell you first hand how frustrating it can be to:
1.) deal with programmers where english isn't their native language, the language barrier can be difficult to ensure they properly understand the project goals 100%
2.) not having them physically in front of you makes it a lot harder to keep them on track and finish projects on the deadline you set
3.) you have no idea how someone will perform just based upon looking at their previous projects online. top developers have experience in the industry that can be verified far beyond simply looking at someone's github or apple appstore account.
4.) many companies have 3rd parties do the interviewing and scouting for them, recruitment companies that specialize in finding great potential employees
